Katie MacGillivray
Designer
Katie joined the Meadowlark team in March 2014 and is thoroughly enjoying her role. After growing up rearranging friends’ bedrooms, drawing, and doing math problems for a hobby, she became interested in design, specifically the impact an environment can have on an individual’s well-being and behavior. She pursued her new-found passion at Central Michigan University, graduated with her B.A. in Interior Design. Prior to Meadowlark, Katie worked in commercial design. Katie is also a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) which we are finding becoming more and more important to our clients design decisions.
In her spare time Katie enjoys cooking and baking for family and friends, hiking, car-camping, playing piano and challenging herself in endurance sports.
