Originally from Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Karley made the move to Ann Arbor to attend the University of Michigan and graduated with a BA in Linguistics in 2014. While in school and after graduating, she worked at UM's hospital while attempting to get into medical school. After deciding she needed more creativity in her life, Karley searched for careers that would satisfy her creative passions and her technical drive while making a positive impact in people's lives. Karley went back to school at Eastern Michigan University's Interior Design program and found it was a perfect fit. While in school, she worked in retail for residential lighting and began an Interior Design internship in residential design. After graduating with her BS in Interior Design in Spring of 2020, Karley has been working as a Residential Designer and has found joy in making homes both beautiful and functional for clients' specific needs.
Outside of work, Karley likes to sew, knit, bake, and read, as well as going on adventures with her husband and daughter.
