Meadowlark seeks to give back to our community, and by supporting ReStore we help Habitat for Humanity Huron Valley build affordable homes for local families. With 14 Meadowlark employees each volunteering 3+ hours of time in March, Meadowlark donated over 42 hours of service to this incredible community organization.
Meadowlark also strives to build awareness, support Habitat’s great work, and amplify our mutual commitment to building better futures. We are committed to helping our team members thrive by fostering a culture that is enriching and fulfilling, and we celebrate organizations that are good stewards of people, products, communities, and the environment.
Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley engages our community to build better neighborhoods through their volunteer, donation, partnership, and ReStore efforts. Each ReStore serves as a community support system, and by donating unneeded household goods to ReStore, you are helping local families acquire the furnishings, appliances, and other materials that help create a suitable home.
The ReStore shop (on Jackson Rd in Ann Arbor) is filled with donations from local residents and businesses which helps reduce waste by keeping items out of landfills and helping the environment. By repurposing gently used goods, ReStore promotes savings by keeping money in your pocket, and it promotes spreading kindness by encouraging charity and volunteer work.
Meadowlark believes that caring for people, the community, and the environment stays true to our values. Our work and our people are intricately connected to our communities so it makes sense to support them. We unite in our efforts to improve the places we call home.
Please consider donating to organizations like Habitat for Humanity's ReStore to avoid filling up our landfills with what someone else may consider a found treasure.
Thank you to the amazing folks over at ReStore, we enjoyed our time with other ReStore volunteers, staff, and customers.
