Originally built in 1894 by Arthur and Henrietta Shaw, this Queen Anne Victorian on Professor’s Row in Ann Arbor has a long list of university dignitaries that have called it home, including the present owners. Via an intensive design/build process, this home has been brought into the 21st Century while keeping true to its architectural heritage. Poorly done remodeling projects throughout the years, along with the need for major structural updates, mandated a complete gut and rehab. A large addition was extended in the back on the first floor to accommodate a beautiful new kitchen and family area. The result is a home that pays tribute to its past and provides a warm, welcoming environment for all who cross her threshold now and in the future.
